To achieve this, the company has developed the Parvalux Materials Review Board, which assesses components daily to identify defects and reduce material wastage.
The firm’s environmental management system also focuses on optimising the quality, longevity, and recyclability of its supply chain.
Parvalux requires its suppliers to operate to a similar environmental standard.
Parvalux aims to reduce its energy consumption by 10 per cent, also based on 2024 figures.
The company has made significant progress towards this goal, reducing its CO2 emissions by 129 tons since opening its new global manufacturing headquarters in Poole in 2023.
Brian Roche, head of quality, health, safety, and environment at Parvalux, said: “Achieving the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standard is recognition of the approach that we have introduced over 18 months to achieve our ambitious yet realistic sustainability targets.”
