Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street’s Debbie Webster gives the performance of a lifetime next week, before proposing to Ronnie Bailey in front of Dev Alahan and Bernie Winter’s wedding guests.
With the bride delayed from walking down the aisle, Debbie decides that the wedding party could do with some livening up.
Dressed to the nines, Ronnie’s lady grabs a microphone and starts to belt out an iconic 1970s tune – before dropping to one knee in front of her smitten beau…
“You can count on Debbie to lift the mood! When Dev and Bernie’s wedding day doesn’t go to plan, she spots an opportunity to have some fun with her friends,” our Corrie source explains.

“Mic in hand, Debs sings ‘Hopefully Devoted To You’ while making sure to pay particular attention to Ronnie.
“The crowd – including Steve, Mary and Aadi – love every second, so you can imagine their faces when Debbie pops the question!
“And luckily, Ronnie is just as chuffed at the idea of becoming Debs’ husband, so it’s smiles all around at the Bistro.”
After the romantic proposal, Debbie and Ronnie look the picture of true love as they embrace each other with a loving kiss. And given how many ups and downs the couple have been through recently, the moment is made all the more special.

“Although, if we know one thing, it’s that Debbie will want a spectacular occasion when the time comes. Let’s just hope that her health allows her to enjoy every moment.”
