Phoenix, Ariz. – Sparklight, a leading broadband communications provider serving 24 states, has been recognized by Ookla, the global leader in network intelligence, for delivering industry-leading internet performance in multiple U.S. communities during the first half of 2025.

In a competitive landscape where real-world results matter most, Sparklight stood out among internet service providers with top honors for speed, reliability, consistency and gaming experience across seven markets: Boise, Idaho; Fargo, North Dakota; South Sioux City, Nebraska; Lewiston, Idaho; Longview, Texas; and Prescott and Prescott Valley, Arizona.

“These recognitions are especially meaningful because they’re based on real customer experiences,” said Julie Laulis, President and CEO of Cable One, Sparklight’s parent company. “They reflect the work we’ve done, and continue to do, to build a network our customers can count on, no matter where they live or how they connect.”

‘Proud of our local teams’

In Boise, Sparklight was recognized for ‘Top-Rated,’ consistent internet service. Fargo customers experienced the best gaming performance statewide, thanks to low latency and consistent upload/download speeds. In Lewiston and Longview, Sparklight outperformed competitors in network stability and responsiveness — critical for smart home usage, remote work, and streaming. And in Prescott and Prescott Valley, Sparklight delivered the fastest recorded upload and download speeds in the region.

“We’re especially proud of our local teams, whose dedication is at the heart of these wins,” Laulis said. “This recognition shows what’s possible when we invest in people and infrastructure with our customers in mind.”

Over the past three years, Sparklight has invested more than $1 billion across its footprint to strengthen its fiber-rich infrastructure, expand Gig-speed access and improve customer experience. Residential customers in select markets can access speeds up to 6 Gig, while business customers benefit from up to 10 Gig fiber internet and customized solutions for education, healthcare, government and finance.

Through a partnership with eero, an Amazon company, Sparklight also delivers intelligent whole-home Wi-Fi with advanced security, parental controls and device management features.
