The start of the 2025/26 campaign is quickly approaching, with the Premier League season just weeks away.

Daniel Farke has brought in numerous new faces to help the Yorkshire club stay in the division, with more signings expected over the next few weeks.

However, the season is no doubt going to be tough, with the odds stacked against the Peacocks.

Nevertheless, there is plenty to be excited about, with MOT Leeds News making three key predictions about the upcoming campaign.

One of the most exciting things about Leeds’ upcoming Premier League season is the return of their derby with Manchester United.

The two clubs have a strong hatred of one another despite the Peacocks’ recent fall down the English pyramid.

However, the ability of the two squads is now the closest in years, with the Red Devils registering their worst-ever Premier League finish last season.

Leeds and Man United played out a 0-0 draw earlier in pre-season, showing how close the two teams actually are.

However, after years of struggling to beat the Manchester side, this season will be the one where the curse finally ends.

Much has been said about Leeds’ chance of survival this season.

In the last two Premier League campaigns, every side that has achieved promotion has gone straight back down, barely putting up a fight.

Therefore, many fans across the country are sceptical about Leeds’ chances of staying in the division.

However, multiple teams have gotten weaker so far this window, including Brentford and Wolves, while the Peacocks have only added to their squad.

While the task will no doubt be difficult, a repeat of the 2021/22 campaign is predicted.

Daniel Farke to be sacked

Farke is already under pressure before the Premier League campaign has even begun.

Leeds were rumoured to be sacking Farke after promotion was secured due to the German’s awful record in the English top-flight.

The manager oversaw Norwich’s relegation from the Premier League before setting the Canaries on the same course two years later, which resulted in the sack.

Therefore, if Farke does not produce results early on, it is easy to imagine the 49ers pulling the trigger.

Unfortunately for the German, his track record in the Premier League speaks for itself, and his sacking this season is inevitable.
