Shoppers have expressed excitement after the opening dates for two of three new stores taking over the former M&S site at the Trafford Centre have finally been revealed.
Fashion favourite Zara is moving to a huge newly designed store, while Bershka is a new name for the Trafford Centre as part of the major redevelopment of the former split level M&S site on Peel Avenue.
It became vacant last year when M&S made its big move to the former Debenhams for a new superstore at the other end of the mall, on Regent Crescent.
The public don’t have to wait too much longer to see exactly how fashion giant Inditex has transformed the site to host three of its big name fashion brands. Zara and Bershka will be first to open, and then will be joined by a new, larger Pull&Bear store too at the same section of the mall at a later date.

Fashion fans were sent into a frenzy earlier this week when the official opening dates for Zara and Bershka were both announced by the Trafford Centre.
Both will open at 10am on Thursday, August 7 at their new store sites.
The Trafford Centre announced the news of the opening dates on their social media feeds earlier this week, with hundreds of comments and likes swiftly racked up for the posts.
Among comments were from @SadieMckeown who wrote: “SO EXCITING!!!!” while fashion influencer @IrenaDWorld wrote: “Oh wow wow wow this is absolutely huge”.

Zara takes on the biggest space in the new development, taking over the vast space on the ground floor of Peel Avenue that was formerly occupied by the M&S food hall and childrenswear sections.
It also spreads across to consolidated smaller units in this section of the centre – that included the former Halifax bank, Post Office and Lakeland stores.
The move will see Zara depart from its current upper and lower mall position further along Peel Avenue – with news on what will be replacing it set to be announced soon.
The Trafford Centre has also now confirmed when the existing Zara store will close – and fans need not worry that they will be without the store for long.

For the old Zara store will close for good on the evening of Wednesday, August 6, with the new store opening the very next morning on Thursday August 7 ensuring a smooth transition between the two.
Bershka meanwhile takes over the space on the upper floor, with works at the site taking out the former mezzanine floor at the old M&S.
Pull&Bear is set to open “later in the summer” with an official opening date yet to be confirmed.
The latest openings at the Trafford Centre come amid a busy year at the mall. High profile store launches have seen big queues forming this year, at the launch of Gymshark earlier in July, while the month before there was a frenzied opening for the huge new JD sports store – now the biggest branch in the world.
