Three men were rushed to hospital following the incident at around 3pm where they remain to receive treatment.

A 30-year-old man received a foot injury, a 36-year-old was injured in a knee and a 20-year-old man, meanwhile, was injured in his arm and stomach after they were ‘struck by projectiles’. Their injuries are non-life-threatening.

West Yorkshire Police said the suspects then fled the scene in a vehicle with a major investigation launched to trace them. Investigations suggested a Nissan Juke, with false registration plates, was driven by the garage as the shots were fired.

The vehicle was later located and seized outside the West Yorkshire area having been abandoned.

In an update, West Yorkshire Police confirmed four suspects, aged 18, 19, 20 and 21, were all arrested in the Greater Manchester area.

The 19 and 18-year-old were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder while the other two males were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.

Anyone who has information about the incident, which took place at about 3pm on 22 July, is asked to speak with the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team on 101 or online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat referencing Operation Pikemont.
