King Charles has been urged to snub Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the Easter Sunday service this weekend. The 76-year-old, accompanied by Queen Camilla, will step out in Windsor for a church service to mark the annual holiday.
Senior members of the Royal Family attend the service each year, with Prince Harry having last joined his family in 2019. Meghan, 43, has never attended Easter celebrations with the royals – with the couple both opting against attending in 2018.
In a poll conducted by the Express, royal fans were asked whether the King should extend an invite to his youngest son and daughter-in-law.
In an unsurprising result, 94 percent [7,015 votes] of the 7,468 people that voted said that he should not invite Harry and Meghan.
Just six percent [423 votes] said that the King should send an invitation to the couple – with less than one percent [30 votes] sharing that they are unsure of what the King should do.
Taking to the comment section, one fan commented: “Considering what they’ve said and done over the past five or six years, the vile and despicable couple forfeited their right to attend any Royal Family activities. Their attendance would ruin the day for other family members and just cause anxiety and tension…”
Another royal fan questioned: “Why spoil the occasion for the rest of the Royals?”
