Meg Moore and Dejon Noel-Williams are the longest-standing couple in the Love Island villa, but their relationship has begun to show signs of strain.
Their stability was rocked this week when their families entered the villa and raised concerns about their partnership. Dejon started to fret about how he is coming across to viewers, while Meg’s mum and sister cautioned her about Dejon’s flirtatious behaviour.
Last night (July 31), a challenge that tested the couples’ knowledge of each other led to a heated argument between the pair. This occurred after Dejon revealed that if he weren’t paired with Meg, his top choice would be Yasmin Pettet.

The fallout from his revelation is set to intensify tonight when Meg discovers that Yasmin initially wrote down Dejon’s name on her board as well. She confronts Yasmin for a chat, saying: “I’ve heard through the grapevine that you got the question wrong and D’s name was written on your board.”
She goes on to say: “I wanted you to explain it because in challenges and stuff, everyone’s always got a bad word to say about D. So, for you then to write him on the board, it was like ‘What’s this about?’. Am I missing something?”
Later, during a date night where the boys cook for the girls, Meg shares news of her conversation with Dejon, which doesn’t go over well, reports OK!

“I can’t believe these are our final days and we’re arguing over Yas – change the topic,” Dejon tells Meg, who retorts with: “You’re still not getting where I’m coming from.”
A frustrated Dejon replies: “Where are you coming from? What is your point?”
Fans believe they’ve figured out why tension is escalating between Meg and Dejon, with some suggesting that the footballer has now set his sights on Yas after discovering her popularity with viewers, and that Meg is seen as a ‘villain’ due to her ongoing spat with fan favourites Shakira Khan and Toni Laites.
“I get why Meg’s confused especially considering how he’s treated Yas,” one show enthusiast stated. “Personally, I think his attitude shifted once he realised Yas was popular on the outside.

“If he hadn’t found that out, he probably would’ve chosen Angel just to play it safe and avoid drama. But now that he knows Meg is public enemy number one, he’s clearly leaning into that.”
Another viewer chimed in: “I feel bad for her. He only cares about winning and HIS IMAGE, and doesn’t care about her feelings. As soon as she started talking something which was spot on, he cut her off and stormed off.
“He was also super p***** off when she got a question wrong in a game. Like mate get a grip of yourself.”
