This list was curated using an AI-powered selection process, analysing various factors such as verified user ratings, reviews, and search and booking data to identify top-performing travel experiences.
The rankings also incorporated user feedback alongside human expertise, assessing criteria such as service quality, popularity through demand and sales, traveller reputation, and unique features.
The capital’s iconic landmark was ranked as the third best attraction in the UK, trailing only behind bucket-list destinations like Buckingham Palace and the British Museum, both in London.
The Castle was ranked 13 overall in the European list – beating historic landmarks such as Windsor Castle, the National Gallery, and Westminster Abbey.
The UK’s rich history and architectural heritage remain significant draws for visitors.
Globally, however, adrenaline-pumping theme parks appear to dominate, with six of the top ten most popular attractions worldwide being theme parks.
In terms of family-friendly travel destinations for 2025, the UK emerges as the clear leader in Europe, boasting 12 of the top 20 attractions across the continent.

Meanwhile, Disneyland Paris takes the crown as the most popular family-friendly attraction in Europe.
