On Facebook, The Loft announced: “We’re coming home. We know it’s taken us longer than we hoped, but we’re delighted to announce work on the new Loft Birmingham has begun.
“Over the next few months we will be working hard to bring you a stunning new venue, with some nods to your favourite parts of the old Loft.
“Launching Friday December 12, our new home will be within the existing Nightingale Club and The Village Inn in the heart of the Gay Village.
“Think of it as your Brumbo Centre.
“Featuring booth seating, comfortable sofas, amazing cocktails, speciality beers, premium spirits, bright natural lighting and lots more.
“We’ll be bringing you lots more information and some sneaky peeks in the coming weeks.”
