Leeds United will potentially be facing strikers like Benjamin Sesko in the Premier League, as the step up from the Championship will be very different.
Daniel Farke will hope his squad can compete in the top flight, but the level of opposition will make it a difficult season.
A signing such as Leeds target Bilal El Khannouss will help with that, after the Leicester City youngster was a shining light in the Premier League.
But a new striker is still needed for the Whites, and despite Joel Piroe being predicted to shine next season, it’s clear the 49ers need a frontman who knows the level.
This is where Sesko comes in, not as the new forward of course, but a new development might have just given Leeds a free run at their main man.

As a new number nine looks to be the next direction to move in for the Peacocks this transfer window, only one name is the clear frontrunner for the role.
Rodrigo Muniz has been a striker that Farke’s side has tracked for months, with the Brazilian looking to be the Premier League-level forward the 49ers have been seeking.
Newcastle United want Muniz throwing a spanner in the works for Leeds’ plans, but the Geordies’ main target, Benjamin Sesko, is at the top of the Toon Army’s list after landing an advantage over Man United, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

With the Magpies’ striker saga still going on, if Sesko signs, Eddie Howe’s attention will have been turned away from the Fulham star.
But Farke and co aren’t out of the woods yet, as Newcastle might not be done on this front, and the time to act for the Leeds hierarchy is now.
Newcastle United still want two strikers so Leeds United must move for Rodrigo Muniz now
It seems like the owners have been biding their time when it comes to signing a priority number nine this summer.
However, they must not wait any longer, as not only is the new season on the horizon, but Newcastle want to sign two new strikers.
This means that even though Sesko has got their full attention, a move could still come to fruition for Muniz further down the line, and Farke will want his services in the top flight.
That is, unless the Whites finally put their words into action and pay up after Leeds’ £26 million bid was rejected for Muniz.
The Brazilian is in the frame for both clubs, but at Elland Road, he could have a major role next campaign, and the 49ers must stop waiting around and convince him, whilst Newcastle are busy elsewhere.
