West Ham United were the sixth-lowest scoring team in the Premier League last season and are looking to make amends.

Michail Antonio missed a substantial part of the campaign due to a car crash sustained last December.

Elsewhere, Niclas Fullkrug has failed to make an impact at the London Stadium after two significant injury layoffs.

Graham Potter now has Callum Wilson within his ranks after the striker joined on a free transfer following his Newcastle United departure.

Potter has now confirmed that fan favourite Antonio is no longer required in East London, and there are several possible destinations for the 35-year-old.

Iconic commentator and Premier League expert Ian Darke believes that Antonio could move to Sheffield United, despite his links with Sheffield Wednesday.

A top-flight move appears unlikely for the Jamaica international, meaning a switch to a Championship side could happen.

Furthermore, the Blades are set to lose target man Kieffer Moore, who is closing in on a move to Wrexham.

Antonio would be a natural replacement for Moore and would fit in with Sheffield United’s style of play.

If the forward wants to make considerable money towards the end of his career, then a move to Saudi Arabia could be on the agenda.

Martin Allen exclusively told West Ham Zone that he thinks Antonio could be given a two-year deal in the Gulf State.

Such moves are proving popular for players entering the final years of their careers, and the 35-year-old could be tempted.

Antonio was reportedly in talks with Al-Ettifaq two years ago, and they could reignite interest this summer.

Moreover, Antonio would almost certainly be offered more money than he would have been with the Hammers.

MLS clubs could offer Antonio appealing option after West Ham

Last summer, Antonio was reportedly a target for MLS clubs, but he ultimately remained in East London.

Son Heung-min is set to be the biggest name to move to the United States this summer and is reportedly closing in on a move to LAFC.

Indeed, LAFC have already lost Olivier Giroud and are in need of a new forward to lead their line.

Like the Saudi Pro League, the MLS offers another lucrative route for players, which could appeal to Antonio.

Furthermore, the transition from England would be smoother, given that there is no language barrier and lifestyle similarities.

As it stands, Antonio is no longer needed by Potter and must find a move away from West Ham.

Wherever the forward goes, it could be his final move, given his age and what he has been through.
