A man has been seriously injured in a stabbing near a Birkenhead park, police have said.
The 22-year-old was wounded in his face, back, arm and leg in Park Road North at about 22:00 BST on Saturday, Merseyside Police said.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police appealed for anyone with information to contact them, with Det Insp Sarah Wilkinson saying it is believed the man was close to the Bowling Green Cafe when he was assaulted.
