Leeds United are already interested in Leicester City duo Bilal El Khannouss and James Justin, despite the two clubs swapping places in the Premier League and Championship.
The Leeds United hierarchy now they aren’t done yet and one full-back option is James Justin of Leicester on Leeds’ radar. The reception to that has been positive, as Leeds fans already like the idea of Justin.
It’s reported that £6 million is enough for Justin, with Everton also keen. He is in the last year of his contract and a fresh start might suit Justin.
The problem is that Crystal Palace are said to be interested in El Khannouss. It’s also reported that Bilal El Khannouss would cost Leeds around £22 million due to a release clause in his deal.
It’s stated that El Khannouss’ wage demands would not be an issue, either, with Leeds holding a meeting with El Khannouss’ camp last Wednesday in a bid to thrash out a deal.

El Khannouss started but Justin was nowhere to be seen during Leicester’s friendly with Fiorentina on Sunday. However, another star has gone viral and caught the eye of Leeds fans already.
We suggested Abdul Fatawu as an option for Leeds, and it seems Leeds fans on Twitter/X all agree as well. They took to the app to say: “Best thing is, even if we go for the cheaper/lower level winger, Solomon STILL isn’t the one we should get😭 go for rowe, fatawu etc.”
I wouldn’t mind Fatawu at all.

Another stated: “Would be absolute madness if he spends another season in the Championship, only question around Fatawu was how he would come back from the injury his quality levels and potential pre injury were amazing and still are post injury.”
Further responses read: “Muniz Gnonto El Khannouss Fatawu I have a dream.”
A number of fans had the same thoughts on the pair: “Fatawu & El Khannouss, problem solved #lufc”
A left-footed but right-sided winger makes enormous sense from a Leeds perspective, given the current makeup of the squad out wide with Willy Gnonto, Dan James, and Largie Ramazani.
Jack Harrison’s future is unclear and he prefers the left, which is why Fatawu would be a unique player for Leeds to have.

Speaking to BBC Radio Leicester back in April 2024. Enzo Maresca said: “He’s young, he needs to learn many things.
“The problem with young players is they are up and down.
“I just said to him that the next two games, he is going to be on the bench,” the manager joked.
“Otherwise, he’ll start to shoot from everywhere, because he scored!”
Abdul Fatawu’s career stats so far
“He deserves it,” Maresca added.
“He needs to learn how to manage himself, but the performance was very good.”
He’s developed further since then, which is why Leeds fans are so keen to sign Fatawu and rebalance their attack with a natural left-footer on the flanks.
