Is Emmerdale‘s Dylan Penders back to his old ways?
The teenager has been suffering with a nasty leg injury he sustained while carrying out a recent job for drug dealer Ray, but a good samaritan came to his rescue in tonight’s episode.
As things appeared to be looking up for Dylan, viewers saw him in possession of drugs again – but is he using or are they linked to Ray’s return?
The episode began with Dylan collapsing as he tried to reach his mobile phone to pick up a call from April. Shortly after, April arrived and found Dylan on the floor, shivering in pain.
April tried to call an ambulance but Dylan told her not to for fear of the police asking about his injury.

Wanting to get him some medical attention, April snuck into the veterinary surgery with Dylan and began looking for something to sterilise his leg wound.
However, Paddy returned to the clinic and caught April and Dylan in the act. April begged Paddy to see to Dylan’s injury but he initially refused for fear of losing his license.
After some encouragement, Paddy changed his mind and helped to clean up the wound, also giving Dylan some antibiotics for the infection.

April explained that Dylan is sleeping rough at the Pavillion and Paddy took him back to his house for the night in an act of kindness.
Marlon and Mandy showed up at the house and Paddy assured them that Dylan’s stay was only temporary, promising that Dylan was no longer using drugs.
After getting Mandy onside with the idea, Paddy had to dash off for an appointment and a panicked Mandy decided to take April and Dylan out for pizza.

At the Pizza place, Mandy and April went to order food, leaving Dylan alone. It’s then that Ray appeared and sought out Dylan.
Ray initially expressed concern for Dylan’s welfare and gave him some money for the recent job despite it being unsuccessful. He then told Dylan that he’d be in touch with a “little job” he’d need him to do for him next.
Later, back at Mandy and Paddy’s house, Dylan arrived with a bag full of his stuff from the Pavillion ready to stay for the night.
When Mandy and Paddy left the room, however, Dylan opened his rucksack and viewers saw multiple bags of drugs in his possession.
Is Dylan taking drugs again or are they related to Ray’s small job?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
