Alarming footage circulating online captured the moment a brawl broke out while crowds gathered around a Fringe performance in Edinburgh city centre.
Believed to have been taken on August 1, the TikTok clip shows the moment two men got into an altercation with one man seemingly being knocked out.
A man with a grey jumper and wearing a cap appears to get a smaller man dressed in black in a headlock before delivering several blows to the man’s head and face, reports Edinburgh Live.
In the clip, the man in black can be seen hitting the deck with others watching the disturbance unfold at Hunter Square.
A performer from the US can be heard in the background as the incident unfolds while tourists can be heard gasping as each blow is delivered.
The male in the grey jumper hurriedly walks away from the scene after the other man fell to the ground.
It is not known what led to the fight or if the man in black sustained serious injuries.
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
