The event begins in September and will feature 19 teams, including nine of the top-ranked UCI squads from around the world.

UAE Team Emirates, Soudal Quick-Step and INEOS Grenadiers are among the high-profile teams confirmed for the line-up.

The competition will race around Suffolk for consecutive days, starting in Woodbridge and finishing in Southwold on September 2, followed by a stage racing around the Stowmarket area on September 3.

Jonathan Day, managing director of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men, said: “This year’s line-up of teams for the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men is one of the best that we have ever seen assembled for the race, and shows the status with which the event is held by UCI WorldTour and Pro Teams.

“Excitement is building for September, and what will be a highly competitive Lloyds Tour of Britain Men.

“We cannot wait to see these teams in action and racing through communities across England and Wales on our six stages.”

The race will then continue with four further stages, ending in Cardiff on September 7.
