Anniversary celebration brought together customers, colleagues, suppliers and partners from across the region

Leading signage specialist, FASTSIGNS Sheffield, has marked 30 years of business with a special celebration evening.

The anniversary celebration, held at the centre on Old Station Drive, brought together customers, colleagues, suppliers and partners from across the region to reminisce on three decades of local partnerships, visual innovation and community collaboration.

For three decades, FASTSIGNS Sheffield has proudly supported local businesses, organisations and institutions with signage, branding and visual communication solutions. From high streets and hospitals to schools, stadiums and city-wide events, recent projects include rebranding work for Play Padel, signage for Molly Limpets, and eye-catching displays for Styr Bistro and Greencore.

A special highlight of the evening was hearing from long-standing FASTSIGNS customers, who shared their experiences working with the Sheffield centre over the years. Many spoke about the team’s commitment to quality, personal service and the confidence of knowing they could rely on the centre to deliver, time after time, from urgent one-off jobs to long-term rebrands. Their comments reinforced the lasting partnerships that have helped shape the business since its early days.

As well as marking a business milestone, the event also celebrated the first anniversary of Martin Slater taking the reins as director of the Sheffield centre. Over the last year, Martin has helped steer the business into a new phase of growth, with a focus on innovation, local investment and deeper collaboration with the region’s business community.

“Reaching 30 years is a huge achievement and a real reflection of the team’s hard work, quality and consistency over the decades,” said Slater. “It was fantastic to celebrate this milestone with so many of our customers, partners and colleagues; people who have supported the business and been part of its journey. Including many of the community who have warmly welcomed me into the centre over the last year.

“Since taking on the role, I’ve been proud to build on the foundations laid out by previous owners Garth and Paul Allison, working alongside an incredibly dedicated team who care deeply about delivering great work for local businesses. From designers and production specialists to customer service and installation experts, it’s very much a team effort. As we look to the future, our focus is on innovation, continued investment and working even more closely with the Sheffield business community. We’re excited about what’s next.”

John Davies, managing director at FASTSIGNS UK, added: “Sheffield has long been one of our flagship centres and reaching 30 years is a remarkable achievement -one that the whole team, past and present, should be proud of. What’s made this possible is the team’s consistent commitment to customer service and their deep connection with the local business community. Under Martin’s recent leadership, the centre has continued to evolve with fresh ideas and energy, and we’re excited to see how they will grow and thrive over the next few decades.”
