Following two groundbreaking seasons that sent Thai youth players to train and compete against top Bundesliga academies in Germany, PPTV HD 36, in partnership with the German Football League (DFL), the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), and the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), has announced the return of its premier youth football development initiative — “SAT Presents Bundesliga Dream 2025.”
Now in its third year, the programme continues to forge a powerful bridge between Thailand’s rising football talents and Europe’s elite stage.
Hunt for rising stars
After capturing the imagination of Thai football fans and delivering life-changing opportunities to its alumni, Season 3 sets out to discover 17 U15 football prodigies from across Thailand.
These young athletes will travel to Germany this September to train and play against youth squads from FC Augsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt. As part of their journey, they will also embark on a special day trip to Stuttgart to play a friendly match with VfB Stuttgart — one of the most respected football clubs in southern Germany.
The nationwide selection kicks off this Saturday at the Football Development Center, Bangkok Thonburi University, starting at 8am.
This year, the selection process becomes even more rigorous and internationally aligned, using the T+MASC system — a professional talent evaluation model developed by the FAT. The framework evaluates players across five critical areas: Talent — Individual skillset; Motricity — Coordination and movement; Availability — Ball control and response; Smart — Game intelligence and decision-making, and Commitment — Attitude, resilience, and teamwork.
A total of 66 shortlisted players (60 outfield and six goalkeepers) will undergo high-stakes trials, observed by Bundesliga club coaches. The process includes round-robin matches followed by a 90-minute final evaluation. Only 17 elite players will earn the chance to represent Thailand in Germany.
Journey of a lifetime
Before departing for Europe, the final squad will enter a professional-grade training camp at Bangkok Thonburi University, focusing on physical, mental, and tactical preparation.
In Germany, the young players will face two renowned Bundesliga academies in competitive friendlies. The stakes are even higher: the two most outstanding performers will be selected to extend their stay for another week — living, training, and dreaming like professional footballers in a real Bundesliga environment.
