Oasis will be playing in Scotland for the first time in 15 years as their reunion tour comes to Edinburgh.

Liam and Noel Gallagher will be performing at Murrayfield Stadium on Friday August 8, Saturday August 9, and Tuesday August 12.

Those who have been fortunate enough to get their hands on an Oasis ticket for any one of the upcoming sold-out Edinburgh shows could still have several questions to answer around gig planning including — where to park the car?

Parking availability and costs are expected to fluctuate dramatically — with parts of the Scottish capital seeing parking already priced at a premium — supply and demand could drive up competition but rest assured that there are plenty of options if you book ahead.

JustPark recommend looking for spaces and booking a spot for your car ahead of time if you are going to see one of the much anticipated gigs in Edinburgh — their app offers different options including specific car parks or paying to leave your vehicle in someone’s driveway.

Their website offered the following advice to patrons: “This tour in particular is expected to be massively popular, so we recommend booking a parking space as soon as your tickets are secured so you don’t miss out on available options.”

Parking near the stadium

Considering the thousands of people who will be travelling to Edinburgh — not just the locals who are expected to attend — for the 2025 Oasis Tour, you’ll want to make sure your parking is sorted as far ahead as possible.

The simplest and most convenient option for parking for most concert-goers would be to download a parking app and rent a private driveway or find a secure space in a car park nearby.

Not only will it save you time and money on the day-of, but it will also give you guaranteed access to a parking space near Murrayfield and can offer flexibility for peace of mind.

The Just Park website advised: “This tour in particular is expected to be massively popular, so we recommend booking a parking space as soon as your tickets are secured so you don’t miss out on available options. If you’re travelling from out of town and will be staying multiple nights in Edinburgh, make sure you extend your parking session for as long as you need it for.”

There are numerous park and ride options listed by the stadium on its website, but there is no guarantee of a space on event days.

Most of the options listed have a maximum capacity of just a couple of hundred cars as well — which considering the fact the stadium can hold nearly 70,000 guests — spaces are expected to be highly competitive.

Again, the sooner you look into the option — the more peace of mind you will have or at the very least be able to examine other choices on how to get there and back from the show.

Another option is to park a bit further away and then complete your journey on public transport — getting out of the gig as early as possible will pay dividends to get on the quickest option back to your vehicle.
