The commercial office space will be part of the new Brabazon development and will include a ticket office for the new Brabazon train station, which is expected to open in 2026.

It will be home to around 800 employees from industries such as life science, technology and manufacturing, making it a prime location for a national or regional headquarters, according to the project’s developers, YTL.

Seb Loyn, planning and development director at YTL Developments said: “There is now real momentum at Brabazon.

“With the station on the way, Waitrose confirmed and now planning approval granted for our first office building, it is fast becoming a business address like no other in the city, offering the space, connectivity and opportunity for local firms to grow and expand.”

It is expected construction will start at the end of 2025.
