The US Open has released its prize-money breakdown for the 2025 edition of the season’s final major. The total prize money for this year’s tournament is $90 million, increasing 20 per cent from $75 million in 2024. 

The men’s and women’s singles champions will each earn $5 million, which represents a 39 per cent increase compared to last year. Prize money in all rounds have seen double-digit increases, with singles first-round winners receiving $110,000. A player losing in the first round of qualifying will receive $27,500.

Winning teams in doubles and mixed doubles will split $1 million.
