Kevin Johns, aged 59, failed to comply by not informing police of bank cards in his possession between May 31, 2023, and August 1, 2023.
He also failed to complete his annual registration at Chipping Sodbury Police Station on January 12, 2024.
Johns, of Bell Road, Coalpit Heath, pleaded guilty to three charges and was sentenced at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on July 3.
He was handed a community order, which will end on July 2, 2026 and ordered to carry out up to 12 days of rehabilitation activity.
He was also fined £50 and ordered to pay a £114 surcharge, which will be deducted from his benefits.
