A residential street in Edinburgh has been locked down by police amid an ongoing incident.
Officers from Police Scotland raced to an address on Broomhouse Terrace in the capital’s Corstorphine area at around 11.40am on Thursday, August 7.
Images shared with our sister title, Edinburgh Live, show multiple police vehicles blocking the road.
Cars can be seen parked all the way up the avenue with one preventing traffic from entering the street.
One passerby said: “I came around the corner and there was a marked police car blocking the road and officers stood nearby. It looked like there was a tent in the front garden of one of the homes. It wasn’t immediately clear what had happened but I just hope everyone is ok.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are executing a search warrant in connection with an ongoing investigation.”
