Police have released an image of a man with links to Birmingham they wish to speak to as part of a historic investigation.

Warwickshire Police are looking to track down Peter Bousfield as part of an ongoing investigation into an offence allegedly committed in Nuneaton 26 years ago.

The force issued an appeal on August 7, but no further details of the offence have been released.

Police said the 53-year-old is thought to have links to Birmingham, Warwickshire, and further afield in Yorkshire and Wales.

They are urging anyone who has seen Peter or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch.

A full log number has been provided as part of the appeal, to help members of the public get in touch directly.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: “Have you seen Peter Bousfield?

“We would like to speak to the 53-year-old in connection with an ongoing investigation regarding an offence in Nuneaton in 1999.

“He is thought to have links to Warwickshire, Birmingham, Yorkshire and possibly Wales.

“If anyone has seen him or knows of his whereabouts, please call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident is 23/38732/24.”
