Prince William is pulling rank at his cousin’s wedding.

In case you aren’t up-to-date on the latest royal drama, Prince Anne’s son Peter Phillips is getting married—and both Prince William and Prince Harry are invited. And…apparently the feuding brothers will both be in attendance, sitting completely apart from each other.

Take this all with a massive grain of salt, but Rob Shutter of #ShuterScoop spoke to a “senior palace insider” who claims both Harry and William want nothing to do with each other at the upcoming royal nuptials.

“The feud is still active and raw,” the source says. “They made it clear: no photos, no interactions, and absolutely no sitting next to one another.”

Apparently, William wants a better seat than his brother at the wedding, and an insider says his team “insisted his seat reflect his future role as king. And that means Harry’s position must be visibly beneath his. They don’t even try to hide the hierarchy anymore.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s team has allegedly (emphasis on allegedly!) asked that he and William arrive separately and won’t have to pose for any official portraits. “He doesn’t want to be part of some fake PR reunion,” a source close to the Duke of Sussex says. “He’s not interested in pretending things are fine when they’re not.”

Oh, and a “family source” claims that the brothers will avoid each other at the reception, noting “They’ll be in the same room—but not in the same frame. No speeches, no toasts, no warm moments. Just frost.”

Tea.
