A car was found ominously dumped at a popular landmark. The Mercedes was spotted parked next to a tree on a footpath in Holcombe Hill earlier this week.Pictures taken by a dog walker show some slight damage to the windscreen and a warning triangle placed behind the car. Also at the back of the vehicle featured a series of numbers across the bumper.

According to the walker, the car was “full of massive rocks” and they told the M.E.N: “God knows how it got there.”

The National Trust, which is responsible for that section of the Ramsbottom green land, told the M.E.N that they are working with the relevant authorities to remove the vehicle.
