The agreement, which took effect on August 1, 2025, is valid for an initial ten-year period, with automatic renewals each year thereafter. APUA will provide full technical support and ongoing maintenance as part of the service.
CDAL, the management company for Jolly Harbour, has welcomed the initiative as a major upgrade for the community. The move is expected to improve access to remote work, streaming services, and other data-heavy applications that have become essential to modern living.
“This is not just a technical upgrade, it’s an investment in the future of Jolly Harbour,” said Levor Henry, Head of Sales and Marketing at APUA Telecommunications. “We are proud to be delivering infrastructure that supports modern living, remote work, entertainment and more. We also invite other residential communities, new developments and property managers to engage with us to explore the customised telecommunications solutions we can provide.”
The fibre rollout is part of APUA’s broader strategy to expand digital access across Antigua and Barbuda, and to ensure residents and businesses are equipped with the tools needed to thrive in an increasingly connected world.
