Two people allegedly involved in the disappearance of a five-year-old girl Oklahoma City metro have been charged, according to police. New court documents detail abuse allegations against Joshua Denton, the boyfriend of the child’s mother, Ashley Rowland.
According to court documents, now-5-year-old London Kerr was reported missing in April of 2022.
Rowland was later arrested. Police say Rowland told investigators she gave Kerr away to a man who sold her methamphetamine. Court documents allege Rowland later told police she believed the man she said she gave London to was the child’s father.
Investigators have not been able to find the man they say Rowland claims she gave London to.

Rowland later bonded out of jail while her bond was set at $3,000, before a judge could set it to a higher amount.

Now, police say Rowland and another of Kerr’s caretakers, 40-year-old Joshua Denton, have been arrested and charged with multiple counts relating to abuse towards Kerr and other children.

Court documents say Denton has been charged with multiple counts, including six counts of child abuse, as well as forcible sodomy and lewd or indecent acts toward a minor.
Rowland has been charged with two counts of enabling child abuse.
