Leeds United need to get their act together soon enough with attacking signings after missing out on Igor Paixao, and Strasbourg star Dilane Bakwa is another name linked.
The lack of movement over the past fortnight has got Leeds fans feeling twitchy about the start of the Premier League campaign, knowing there are still glaring weaknesses in the squad.
In particular, the attack is lacking standout top flight quality with only Lukas Nmecha added to the squad in that area of the pitch.

Leeds United ‘target’ Dilane Bakwa subject to Nottingham Forest approach
Igor Paixao was the name every Leeds fan was hoping would opt to move to Elland Road, only to choose Champions League football at Marseille instead.
As the club combs over scouting reports for plausible alternatives, Strasbourg right-winger Dilane Bakwa is one name that entered the public domain as a reported target – per The Athletic.
After a brilliant season in Ligue 1, Strasbourg’s squad under Liam Rosenior are primed to lose key players, having already lost Habib Diarra to Sunderland, and Bakwa could be next.

While Leeds are yet to be revealed to have lodged any concrete offer for the Frenchman, Sacha Tavolieri reports that Nottingham Forest have now submitted a €25million offer with €5million in add-ons (£26.2million in total) for the 22-year-old.
Strasbourg are claimed to be holding out for a sum in the region of €35million (£30.5million) to let the winger leave, as unnamed ‘other’ Premier League clubs continue to monitor, as well as Serie A sides.
Leeds United set to miss out on another ‘target’ in Dilane Bakwa
Bakwa would be a solid signing for Leeds and a definite improvement on what we have in our wide positions, but that sort of price is too much for us to pay.
Strasbourg are asking for the same sort of money that Paixao ended up being sold for by Feyenoord, but he wouldn’t be of the same calibre right away.
Forest being able to offer Europa League football (unless Crystal Palace win their appeal) makes them a much more appealing side right now.
Interestingly though, Forest have just splashed out on the impressive capture of Dan Ndoye – a right-winger that directly replaces Anthony Elanga, so what is their plan for Bakwa?
