Bookface Sip & Swap is a book club that has been running since 2020 and has hosted more than 50 sell-out events across Scotland.

The club is known for its relaxed and social atmosphere, where authors and readers can swap books, share recommendations, and have a chat.

Past guests have included Donna Ashworth, Helen Fields, Val McDermid, Heather Morris, John Niven, Susannah Constantine, Chris Brookmyre, Davinia Taylor, Tom Newlands, and Juano Diaz.

Lisa Jewell, who has sold more than 10 million books, will be attending the book club this July to launch her new brand thriller Don’t Let Him.

Heather Suttie, founder of Bookface, said: “Lisa Jewell is one of the most addictive, consistently brilliant writers working today – and getting her to a Bookface event has been top of my wishlist for two years.

“The Bookface Sip & Swaps are about more than just books – they’re about connection.

“You meet people you wouldn’t otherwise meet, you leave with new reads you might never have picked up, and the energy in the room is always quite magical.”

The event will feature a sustainable book swap with more than 300 titles.

Attendees are encouraged to bring four books if they want to take part in the club’s sustainable book swap.

However, Kindle and audiobook fans are also welcome.

Tickets for the event are priced at £20, which includes two drinks.

They can be purchased via Eventbrite.
