A four-lawyer team from Squire Patton Boggs has signed up to undertake the Deadly Dozen fitness race.

Taking place on 23 August at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, the team will compete to fundraise for the Edward’s Trust in memory of colleague and friend Stuart James.

The Deadly Dozen will see office managing partner Tom Durrant and colleagues Michelle Adams, Neil Taylor and Oliver Ward-Jones tackling twelve 400m runs and completing a range of activities at twelve exercise stations, using bodyweight, kettlebells, dumbbells and weight plates.

Michelle Adams said: “We have all been in training, and there’s no doubt that it will be a punishing challenge, but we are competing for a wonderful cause, and it will be a really positive way to remember Stuart who we sadly lost a year ago.

“We really want to do the challenge justice and raise as much as we can for Edward’s Trust, which provides vital support to grieving families across the West Midlands, and would be very grateful of donations.”

To support the Squire Patton Boggs team in this challenge, donations can be made via Justgiving or by contacting Michelle Adams to add your company logo to the team’s t-shirt or shorts.
