Leeds United could potentially add Al-Hilal striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to their arsenal this transfer window.
The 30-year-old joined the Saudi Pro League outfit in 2023 from Fulham and has since had an impressive goal record.
Mitrovic is being linked with a move to Elland Road, as the Riyadh club look for a high-profile addition in their front line.
The Whites will arguably need a new striker once Mateo Joseph and Patrick Bamford leave, and the Serbia international may be the perfect addition in West Yorkshire.

One Leeds source has suggested that Daniel Farke’s squad could do with a rogue character this summer.
The Whites have apparently signed some good characters for their dressing room, but they may need someone more aggressive for their squad at Elland Road.
Graham Smyth believes there may be room for a “nasty centre-forward” at the West Yorkshire outfit, although Mitrovic’s wages could potentially be a sticking point.
- Al-Hilal signed Mitrovic for around £50million.
- The Serbian striker earns over £400,000 a week in Saudi.
- In the 2022/23 season, the 30-year-old scored 14 Premier League goals.
Speaking on the Inside Elland Road Podcast (7 August), the YEP journalist said: “Mitrovic is an interesting one because he meets the profile in terms of size and physicality, not so much in age, but the big sticking point with Mitrovic before anything can happen for Leeds would be wages.
“I don’t know what Mitrovic is like either. I know he’s a pretty nasty character on the pitch, I don’t mind that at all. Somebody at Leeds said to me this summer in a half-jokey way, they were talking about the quality of the humanity they’ve brought in and what great blokes they have got this summer.
“They said you almost need a rogue to throw in there as a cat among the pigeons. Maybe there is room for one of those yet, and I wouldn’t mind them signing a big and nasty centre-forward who is going to batter centre halves week in, week out and score goals.”

Mitrovic could help Farke at Elland Road
Joseph is set to join Mallorca on loan soon, and Leeds will undoubtedly need a replacement for the 21-year-old.
The Whites have been looking to bolster their attack in recent weeks, but have been unable to sign another forward since Lukas Nmecha.
Mitrovic seems to have mellowed out a bit in Saudi Arabia, picking up just three yellow cards in the league last season, as opposed to seven in the 2022/23 campaign.

The Serbian centre-forward stands at 6’2″ and the 30-year-old was notorious for his uncompromising attitude, which will arguably come in handy for Leeds.
Mitrovic could be the ideal target man Farke may need to deal with the rigours of the Premier League at Elland Road.
The striker doesn’t seem to have lost his goalscoring touch at Al-Hilal, and his presence in the box will definitely come in handy for the German manager at Elland Road.
Although only time will tell whether the Whites can afford his signature.
