Tickets for Northern Ireland’s three home World Cup qualifiers this autumn have already sold out.
Allocations for home and away qualifiers have been snapped up by fans eager to see Michael O’Neill’s team take on Germany, Luxembourg and Slovakia in Group A in the European qualifiers for FIFA World Cup 2026.
Tickets to the three home World Cup qualifiers (WCQs) went on sale on 31 July.
With Campaign Packages selling out in 2024 ahead of the UEFA Nations League window, remaining single match tickets were available initially via a pre-sale for supporters hoping to attend at least one of the upcoming fixtures.
General sale tickets for the Germany WCQ at the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park on Monday 13 October sold out under two hours within the pre-sale window, while tickets for the Slovakia encounter in Belfast on Friday 10 October sold out later the same day.
And tickets for the WCQ against Luxembourg at the National Stadium on Monday 17 November were all snapped up by 5 August.
However, a waiting list is in place to allow supporters to sign up and be the first to hear of any returned tickets which may become available. You can join the waiting list here.
Each visiting team is given a five per cent allocation of tickets to sell. Any tickets not sold by visiting teams are returned to the Irish Football Association approximately six weeks ahead of each fixture. The association in turn can sell them to Northern Ireland supporters.
Northern Ireland’s senior men’s team open their FIFA World Cup 2026 qualification campaign with away fixtures against Luxembourg on Thursday 4 September and Germany on Sunday 7 September.
More than 6000 applications for tickets were received across the two fixtures and the allocations for both games have now been confirmed. It means just over 2000 campaign package holders will be travelling to Germany and 1000 to Luxembourg to cheer on the team.More information on this ticket allocation can be found here.
