Three people were arrested during Friday night’s packed Oasis gig at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.
The iconic rock band made their highly anticipated comeback to Scotland, playing to a sell out crowd of around 70,000 fans as part of their world tour.
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher thrilled the crowd with classic hits including Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger.
Officers from Police Scotland confirmed that three arrests were made during the first of three nights in the Scottish capital. Two women and a man, all in their 40s, were held over offences including abusive behaviour, assault and possession of illegal drugs.
A statement from the force said: “Three people were arrested at an event at Murrayfield Stadium on Friday, 8 August, 2025.
“A 49-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with assault, drug offences and abusive behaviour. He is due to appear in court at a later date.

“A 46-year-old woman was arrested in connection with abusive behaviour and issued a recorded police warning. A 45-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with assault and drug offences. She is due to appear in court at a later date.”
Oasis will return to the Murrayfield stage on Saturday and Tuesday before continuing their tour across Ireland, North America, Asia, and Australia.
The band will then headline two nights at London’s Wembley Stadium in September.
