Newfoundland and Labrador has dipped below double digit unemployment. It fell to 9.9 per cent in July from 10.5 in June.
The unemployment rate nationally held steady at 6.9 per cent last month as the agency says the total number of job seekers was roughly unchanged.
In the St. John’s area, the jobless rate fell to 6.7 per cent from 6.8.
