Queen Camilla has urged King Charles to “stop” Prince William from “trying to create issues” within the monarchy, according to claims made by a former royal photographer, that William is overstepping boundaries and Charles is King, he makes the decisions, not his son, who is the heir in waiting.

Ian Pelham Turner commended Charles for his leadership while suggesting that certain rough edges require “smoothing out” throughout the Royal Family.

The royal insider has observed a transformation in the monarch, believing Camilla has significantly influenced him as Charles regains his vitality.

We spoke to Mr. Pelham Turner during a Zoom call, who said: “Charles has great humanity, and I think he just needed the corners smoothed out, and I think that’s what Camilla has done more than anything.”

The photograoher-turned-TV presenter added: “I think what is happening at the moment, and it’s just my inkling, there’s nothing I can sort of prove, and say, ‘this is the case,’ but I get the feeling at the moment, that she’s seeing William trying to create issues and she’s told Charles to stop it.”

Camilla’s influence on Charles is significant

Pelham Turner shared his thoughts on the matter: “I want Charles to have his time, I get it, I think in a lot of ways, he is a very good King, I really do, and I think, where he’s come in his life now with Camilla by his side, Camilla is a much stronger person, I think, for him.”

Pelham Turner’s final photography assignment before transitioning to television involved documenting Prince William and Princess Kate’s wedding ceremony.

Based on Pelham Turner’s account, when Charles and Camilla arrived at the wedding venue, they rushed directly into the church without acknowledging the assembled crowd of 10,000 people, who were visibly let down by the missed opportunity. As they were leaving, Charles and Camilla were seen in their carriage when Pelham Turner noticed Camilla instructing her husband to “Wave,” which he did.

While it may seem trivial, it’s the little things that count, and according to Pelham Turner, Camilla has a unique way with him.

Charles needed some refining

Pelham Turner is seeing a change in Charles and credits it to Camilla, which he elaborated on.

The royal commentator said: “When I look at Camilla nowadays, although she’s still vilified by women over 50, because they remember Diana, I think in a lot of ways, she’s actually taught Charles how to be human.”

As a commissioned photographer, invited to the Palace for assignments, Pelham Turner first met Charles while he was still married to Princess Diana, and by the end of their marriage, Charles had his own PR team, as did Diana, the Royal commentator explains.

Recently, Charles’ representative met with Harry’s two representatives at a private members club, on its outdoor balcony, which wasn’t exactly private and was caught on camera.

According to Pelham Turner, he believes Camilla had a hand in setting up this meeting, and it would make sense for the public to be aware of this.

He explained: “I think what we’re seeing now, and this is just my take on it, the balcony shot, was the first shot across the bows, and I would say, a lot of influence probably came from Camilla.

“I think the reality is, it’s been rumored for a while, that William has been trying to push – whatever – in the monarchy, at the moment, that he’s the driving force behind the throne and I think, Charles should be.”
