AS THE countdown continues to Solihull’s first-ever Pride, the remaining event sponsors have been revealed.
The two-day event, taking place on September 6 and 7, is being organised by Solihull Business Improvement District (BID) and has been made possible by support from a number of borough companies.
Following the initial announcement of npower Business Solutions (nBS) as headline Sponsor and BNP Paribas Personal Finance, John Lewis and Partners, Solihull College and University Centre and Touchwood as Associate Sponsors, there have been more names in the business community stepping forward to support the event.
Davisons Law, Muse and Paragon Bank have come on board as Associate Sponsors whilst funding has also been secured from The National Lottery Community Fund.
Davisons Law have served the Solihull community for over a decade and have offices on Warwick Road.
Placemaker Muse, in partnership with Solihull Council, will be delivering the transformation of Mell Square. Paragon Bank, a specialist lender and savings bank, are part of the FTSE 250 and are headquartered on Homer Road in the town centre.
Melanie Palmer, chief executive of Solihull BID, said: “It’s fantastic to see so many local businesses supporting then event and helping make Solihull Pride a reality.
“The event simply could not go ahead without the generous support we have received so far and we now look forward to championing love, diversity and inclusivity at Solihull Pride on September 6 and 7.”
CGI, David Wilson Homes and Howden have also provided support sponsorship as Solihull gears up to host its first ever Pride celebration in the town centre.
