The ‘North London Summer Connect’ is a free festival to show what support is available from the Children’s and Young People’s Services, taking place in Chestnuts Park in St Ann’s Road on Saturday, August 16.
Activities for all ages include interactive games, sports, arts and crafts workshops and of course a bouncy castle and face painting.
Visitors can get advice from information booths and meet members of the North London NHS foundation trust’s ‘youth board’ and be put in touch with organisations that offer any help needed.
The ‘gathering in the park’ is for anyone looking for services — or simply wanting a day out with the family.
The foundation trust’s youth board is a group of “passionate young people making a positive impact” on mental health who are sharing their story and offering tips at the festival.
