Channel 4 has announced a new spin-off for one of its most iconic shows.
Come Dine with Me is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and part of that includes Come Dine with Me Teens, coming to E4 next year.
Casting is open now for five 16-to-19-year olds in or around the Greater Manchester area to compete in a week’s worth of episodes, with filming set for later this year.
As with the grown-up version, each episode will take place in a different house, and the winning person at the end of the week gets the £1,000 prize.
If you meet the criteria and fancy applying, you can do so at the Channel 4 website.

In addition to the Teens spin-off, Channel 4 has also announced a new series of the main show, with 25 new 30-minute episodes.
This isn’t the first time that Come Dine with Me has received a spin-off. There has been the occasional celebrity version – including a Hollyoaks special – as well as a couples format and the more recent version for professional cooks.
There’s also been over 30 different international versions, both in English and different languages.

When looking at reviews from viewers on IMDb, it’s easy to see why the show has endured for so long.
Dave Lamb’s narration is mentioned many times, but other recurring comments state that Come Dine with Me has “no pretentions” and its simple format allows for easy binge-watching.
One review, titled “Dangerously addictive”, called it “a fascinating text, as it encapsulates within each 25-minute episode the enduring class, gender and age prejudices of most of the contestants.”
Come Dine with Me Teens is set for E4 next year. Hundreds of episodes of the franchise can be streamed on the Channel 4 service.
