Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, wore custom cufflinks which has a picture of his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, to honour his memory on his wedding day.

The artist shared a photo of the cufflink via his Instagram story on Sunday from his ongoing white wedding to his long-time partner, Chioma Rowland on Sunday, in Miami, United States.

PUNCH Online reports that the white wedding, which comes after a traditional wedding celebration held in 2024 – has drawn influential figures from Nigeria’s business, political, and entertainment spheres to Miami which included a host of Nigerian music stars like Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile, who were also present at the couple’s pre-wedding dinner.

Davido had revealed that the wedding cost a total of $3.7m.

He said, “We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy.”
