West Midlands Police say they are “reviewing CCTV footage” as they look into the incident in which Town midfielder Jack Taylor appeared to be assaulted by a Birmingham City fan during Friday’s 1-1 draw at St Andrew’s.

Taylor would have been accused of hitting his fist and we’d get a points deduction.


They aren’t stewards. They are 18 year old minimum wage ushers with no security or crowd control experience at all. The guy pushed him aside, he’s not paid to confront him, that’s the job of the guy that rugby tackled the night-time sunglassed tool.


Irrelevant, but if you watch the footage, the guy has his sunglasses on top of his head when he comes down from the stand and then they fall into place as he approaches the players without him touching them.
