Dawn to Dusk: Birds by Jim Moir is on view at The Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight until November 2. It celebrates ‘the magic and majesty of many of the UK’s most-loved feathered friends, inviting the public to appreciate their brilliance and importance through the beauty of paint’.
Jim is known for his paintings of British birds, around 45 of which will be on display. Some of the paintings have been created exclusively for the exhibition.

Youth market
A youth market will be held in West Kirby later this month.
It will take place on the plaza area outside West Kirby Concourse on Saturday August 23 between 10am and 4pm.
Youth Markets have previously been held in Liscard, New Brighton and Birkenhead, showcasing the products of 98 young businesses and attracting more than 12,000 visitors between them.

Applications are also encouraged from performers such as musicians, bands, dance groups and choirs, who would like to take to the event stage and showcase their talent.
