National Museum of Racing and Hall of FameAugust 18 at the Museum  


Saratoga Springs, N.Y. — The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will play host to Casino Night on Monday, Aug. 18 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for the Museum and the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF) sponsored by Live Oak Plantation and the Jockeys’ Guild and catered by Mama Mia’s.


Casino Night will provide some high-stakes fun for a great cause. The evening will include a lively atmosphere throughout the Museum as well as the following features:


  • celebrity dealers, including Javier Castellano, Dylan Davis, Romero Maragh, and John Velazquez
  • buffet and cocktail-style fare donated by Mama Mia’s (limited seating)
  • beer, wine, water, and soda served (no liquor)
  • First Fill Spirits will be doing a tasting, and they will be selling special-edition Dornoch bourbon bottles with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the PDJF and NMRHOF.
  • 50/50 raffle
  • silent auction
  • door prizes and giveaways
  • cash-only gaming tables
  • Other Jockeys in attendance (subject to change) include: Junior Alvarado, Kendrick Carmouche, Katie Davis, Frankie Dettori, Manny Franco, Jose Lezcano, Lane Luzzi, Jose Ortiz, and Ricardo Santana, Jr.
