One of Kent’s biggest live music events continues with outdoor performances from huge names, including two indie giants of the noughties.

BRIT Award nominees Razorlight and chart-topping band The Wombats are the next artists to take to Dreamland’s Scenic Stage as part of the ongoing Margate Summer Series.

The two groups will be joining forces for a co-headline show, following in the footsteps of the likes of The Libertines, HAIM, Madness and more, who have already performed at the venue this summer.

Razorlight, fronted by Johnny Borrell, formed in 2002 and are known for UK Top 10 singles America, In the Morning and Somewhere Else.

The band, which split in 2014 but returned with the 2024 album Planet Nowhere, now includes members Björn Ågren, Carl Dalemo and Andy Burrows.

Since the release of their debut album, A Guide to Love, Loss and Desperation, in 2007, The Wombats have racked up five Top 10 albums.

Their 2022 record, Fix Yourself Not the World, reached the No. 1 spot in the charts.
