Amazon customers “haven’t taken off” a budget-friendly smartwatch that shoppers are snapping up for a fantastic deal. The retailer claims the timepiece’s style pairs perfectly with all the functions that ‘make daily life easier’, alongside specific programmes designed to help establish healthier routines.
The OUKITEL Military Smart Watch typically retails for £59.99 but has been slashed in an Amazon promotion to £35.99, making it a 40% discount. The waterproof gadget has been “manufactured according to military standards“, ensuring it’s robust enough to withstand even the harshest conditions.
Beyond its “rugged” appearance, it operates “just like” any other leading smartwatch with numerous handy functions including a compass, barometer, advanced voice assistant, remote smartphone camera shooting, music control, alarm clock, calculator, weather forecast and more, reports the Daily Record.
When it comes to health and wellbeing features, it includes modes to track sleep quality, heart rate, blood oxygen and breathing. This fitness tracker boasts over 100 sports modes, encompassing diverse activities such as running, mountaineering, basketball, skipping, outdoor hiking and more.
Amazon claims the watch won’t require frequent charging either, thanks to its strong “military grade” battery, which delivers up to 10 days of usage on a single charge. Similar devices are available for those wanting an affordable introduction to the smartwatch market without spending hundreds of pounds.

For example, Sports Direct is offering this Karrimor Smart Watch (£19.99, down from £49.99). At Currys, the Reflex Active Series 23 Smart Watch is available to buy (£39.99), but dozens were sold on this Amazon deal.
One customer said: “Love its display very clear, sharp and colourful. It has a larger display screen and fits perfectly for me. Sports mode are very effective and shows accurate data. Battery life is surprisingly good. Looks brilliant and has that raw and rugged look to it.” Another added: “The OUKITEL Military Smartwatch is the Swiss Army knife of smartwatches. it offers impressive features for both fitness enthusiasts and the occasionally clumsy. It’s rugged durability combined with practical convenience.”
But, despite glowing reviews, some customers did highlight a few problems. One buyer claimed: “Kept malfunctioning after 24 hours it wouldn’t register any heart/stress tests via the phone or app had to keep resetting the watch to original factory settings.”

Another warned fellow shoppers: “It’s a shame the watch looks great but the pulse sensor doesn’t work, watch is probably too thick, so no sleep data either.” And a third customer noted that, despite “scratchproof” claims, their device did sustain some damage within “weeks of wearing it for work”.
On the other hand, another person commented alongside a five-star review: “I haven’t taken it off since I received it. It has good battery life. I love the fact that you can make and take calls with the built-in microphone and speakers. I will recommend it to friends and family.”
Someone else put: “The design is proper lovely and industrial. A big, chunky watch loaded with features. Everything down to the watch face is customisable. You can even set the buttons to become quick triggers to your favourite sport modes. The audio is clear and the phone connection is perfect.”
And, one more added: “The design is modern, elegant and at the same time sporty, perfect to wear both during physical activity and in daily life. It’s light and comfortable, so it doesn’t bother you even after many hours on your wrist.”
