Midlands-based M&A advisory firm Coadax has appointed Kiran Tailor as corporate finance director – marking a significant step in its national growth strategy.

Kiran Tailor 2 1 Coadax appoints corporate finance director to strengthen M&A expertise

Kiran joins with more than 15 years’ experience in M&A and transaction advisory, having held senior positions across both industry and professional services, including EY and Blick Rothenberg.

This strategic hire follows a period of significant growth for Coadax, which has successfully completed several high-profile transactions and continues to develop a strong pipeline of deals across multiple sectors. Kiran will play a key role in leading mid-market transactions, with a focus on supporting clients in the Midlands and London regions.

Having held a 16-year career at a private equity-backed corporate, Kiran spent the latter seven years there directly supporting the C-suite with reviewing more than 200 investment cases, including acquisitions, divestments and refinancing deals. He then held senior advisory roles at EY and Blick Rothenberg, completing around 40 transactions across industries such as manufacturing, financial services and healthcare.

Kiran said: “I was drawn to Coadax because of its commitment to client care and its end-to-end service model. Unlike many firms that focus on volume, Coadax prioritises the outcome for the client, including meticulous documentation and hands-on support throughout the deal journey.

“I’m excited to bring my in-house and advisory experience together to help clients optimise deal value while de-risking their transactions. I also look forward to contributing to Coadax’s continued growth, building long-term relationships, and helping business owners and investors achieve their strategic goals.”

In his new role, Kiran will be responsible for leading transactions across all sectors, enhancing Coadax’s presence in both London and Birmingham, and further developing the firm’s mid-market, owner-managed business proposition.

Kiran’s appointment comes as Coadax continues to expand its footprint and team to meet growing demand from clients seeking trusted, high-quality M&A advice.

Mukesh Bulsara, partner and head of Coadax, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kiran to the team. His wealth of M&A experience, both in industry and within top-tier advisory firms, will be invaluable as we continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. His expertise in sales and purchase agreements, commercial deal structuring, and due diligence will further enhance our ability to support clients through complex and high-value transactions.”
