RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A vintage trumpet. British Royal Family memorabilia. Bernardaud Limoges Reine Elisabeth porcelain dinnerware. A caped rabbit sculpture.
Those items and hundreds more are being auctioned off later this month on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff/Public Administrator.
The public auction is a way to liquidate the estates of county decedents whose property is unclaimed. Household items, appliances, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, coins, art, tools, computer equipment, bikes, cars, trucks, vans, trailers and recreational vehicles are just some of the treasures up for grabs.
The auction is scheduled Aug. 20 with live bidding starting at 10 a.m. via the “Bid Fast and Last Riverside Public Administrator Auction” website at https://www.bidfastandlast.com. Items are currently available for online viewing, and registration is currently underway.
Though the auction is online only, a limited in-person “preview” will be held at the Riverside County Sheriff/Public Administrator, 800 S. Redlands Ave. in Perris, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Aug. 20. Appointments are required for live viewing of items.
