Two people have been arrested as part of a drugs investigation in Bristol.

Officers from the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) are searching the property on Church Road, Redfield, as part of a drugs investigation.

Two men have been arrested at other locations on suspicion of drugs importation and class B drugs supply, as well as money laundering offences.

They both remain in custody.

According to reports, a cordon is in place at Mr Exclusive Drinks on Church Road.

A spokesperson for SWROCU said: “I can confirm the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) is currently searching a premises in Redfield, Bristol, as part of an investigation into drug supply.

“In connection with the investigation two men were arrested this morning (13 August) for drugs importation and supply (class B) and money laundering offences at other locations and are currently in custody.”

A Post Office spokesperson said: “Redfields Post Office is temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologise for any inconvenience that this unplanned closure may cause.

“Alternative branches in the area include Lawrence Hill, Stapleton Road and Easton.”
