Areas in the Midlands have featured in a list of the worst places to live in the UK.
According to a new study, towns and cities across the Midlands are some of the least desirable places to live.
Analysts looked at data in order to compile the list of 294 local authority areas.
This included crime rates, house prices, schools and NHS access.

The worst area to live in the West Midlands was named as Walsall – which is also one of the worst in Britain.
Birmingham, Solihull, Sandwell, Derby, Leicester, and Coventry featured in the list.

Derby – 290th place
Walsall – 278
Leicester – 273
Tamworth – 273
Solihull – 269
Birmingham – 265
Nottingham – 261
Sandwell – 259
Coventry – 255
Wolverhampton – 252
